Hello friends! With Magfest and Katsucon right around the corner, I want to take some time to remind con-goers to be safe. One thing in particular I would like to touch on is using the buddy-system while at cons. Last year, I was walking by myself from the hotel I was at (The Loft) to the Gaylord to a panel I was co-hosting. I was wearing a full-length formal gown under my winter coat. So. I've been saving up Christmas and birthday money for a few years now so as to purchase a better camera (I currently have a little digital Olympus). And I was able to purchase a Nikon D3200 for myself.  Complete with 18-55mm lens and 55-200mm lens.  And with a spiffy bag to tote it all around in.  But seriously, I got it for like $300 cheaper because of the bundle-deal that I utilized; if I'd bought it on any other day, it would've cost me upwards on $830.
